LHR is inviting applications from law graduates with an interest in human rights law and public interest litigation to join our candidate attorney programme.
LHR offers candidate attorneys comprehensive in-house training and financial support to complete the School of Legal Practice training. The position is based in LHR’s Durban law clinic and the work will focus mainly on the Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme and Detention and Monitoring Unit.
Requirements: LLB degree, solid legal research and writing skills, and a valid driver’s license.
Skills and attributes: Ambition to excel, drive and initiative, and people and leadership skills. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, and be well-organized, dedicated, and hardworking.
